About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configuration and maintenance of the data catalog in WKC (IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog): management of categories, assets, connections, and metadata enrichment.
Definition and publication of the business glossary, collaborating with different teams to ensure consistent terminology across the company.
Creation and enforcement of data protection rules: classification of sensitive data (PII), access controls (RBAC/ABAC), and auditing.
Participation in meetings with stakeholders and data teams to verify that governance procedures are being applied correctly.
Mapping and maintenance of data lineage, ensuring end-to-end traceability of key assets.
Management of stewardship workflows and providing support to data stewards and data owners in the use of the tool.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of data governance tools such as IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog, Collibra, or Informatica (Axon/EDC).
Familiarity with data governance frameworks (DAMA/DMBOK) and privacy regulations such as GDPR.
Ability to define policies, classifications, and data governance procedures.
Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Proactive approach to adoption and continuous improvement of governance processes.
Attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
Advanced level of English.
