About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide guidance, development, training, resources, and technical expertise that supports all safety programs/projects for the C.H. Robinson Energy Vertical
- Serve as the network developer of safety programs and policies
- Drive safety projects
- Engage all leadership with C.H. Robinson’s safety vision and ensure we are the leaders in safety development
- Partner with all departmental teams and execute company EHS policies, programs, projects, and ensure compliance to all applicable local, regional, and federal regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety in manufacturing, warehousing, etc.
- Effective and flexible communication skills – interfacing with all departmental leaders
- Excellent administrative/project skills – presentations, trend graphing, developing EHS programs/policies/projects from conception to completion/result
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Have a positive attitude and solution seeker for all opportunities
- Demonstrated experience of successfully building and managing programs/projects
- Project management or equivalent professional certification
- Possess safety certifications (ASP, CSP, etc.)
