About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide guidance, development, training, resources, and technical expertise that supports all safety programs/projects for the C.H. Robinson Energy Vertical
  • Serve as the network developer of safety programs and policies
  • Drive safety projects
  • Engage all leadership with C.H. Robinson’s safety vision and ensure we are the leaders in safety development
  • Partner with all departmental teams and execute company EHS policies, programs, projects, and ensure compliance to all applicable local, regional, and federal regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety in manufacturing, warehousing, etc.
  • Effective and flexible communication skills – interfacing with all departmental leaders
  • Excellent administrative/project skills – presentations, trend graphing, developing EHS programs/policies/projects from conception to completion/result
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Have a positive attitude and solution seeker for all opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully building and managing programs/projects
  • Project management or equivalent professional certification
  • Possess safety certifications (ASP, CSP, etc.)
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
