Manager

• Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales, this accomplished and highly strategic, commercially driven and customer-obsessed sales professional will be tasked with leading the sustainable budgeted top and bottom line growth across strategic growth customers across the CHG portfolio of products
• Establish strategies and tactics to effectively lead in the delivery of short, mid and long-term strategic growth plans
• Develop branded and private label business with the designated customers
• Own and lead sales responsibilities for CHG portfolio at assigned customers
• Develop and execute quarterly and annual sales plans, promotions and merchandising strategies
• Use data based insights to influence distribution, shelving, and merchandising executions at your retailers
• Manage and develop brokers which includes brand education, objective setting, trade promotion planning, tracking, measuring and evaluating
• Build expertise in selling CHG’s extensive line of food offerings across all day-parts
• Communicate to the organization on a timely basis regarding any changes in business and market trends which impact our business and provide action plans/ alternatives to address these changes as required
• Gain deep understanding around CHG’s product lines and work to maximize margin/ profit
• Partner with CHG’s R&D/ Marketing/ Innovation teams for customized product development and winning innovation to enable business development and accelerate growth
• Analyze business and develop sales strategies and plans which differentiate CHG as a partner of choice and enable CHG to profitably grow
• Communicate clearly and directly with multiple inter-company departments, including Marketing, R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing and Finance.

Customer Development Manager – Alternate Channels, Mass, Club, Dollar

• Lead and support plant teams in meeting corporate objectives and achieving KPIs related to food safety and quality
• Manage and mentor Plant FSQA Managers to foster collaboration across facilities and drive a culture of high expectations throughout the organization
• Standardize quality management system and ensure the effective implementation of sanitation best practices and GFSI audit standards
• Serve as the backup BRC/SQF facility lead when needed
• Collaborate with the sales team to manage customer QA relationships, ensuring all customer FSQA requirements are met and maintained
• Oversee the quality assurance process, including internal assessments and audits of the quality system
• Manage non-conforming products, dispositions, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Accountable for analyzing and interpreting food safety data sets to identify trends and areas of improvement in food safety performance
• Drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives based on analytics
• Partner with the food safety leadership team to identify opportunities for automation in food safety processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by leveraging expertise in interpreting the FDA regulations, the Food Safety Modernization Act, and local regulations related to food products, manufacturing, and packaging
• Handle additional responsibilities such as managing customer complaints, leading corrective and preventive actions, and reporting on key performance indicators to leadership
• Performs all other duties as assigned
