About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and operate a cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on IT security within the team
Develop and maintain a monitoring system for early detection of security incidents in the cloud (e.g., SIEM, log analysis, incident response)
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and support penetration tests
Administer, maintain, analyze, and monitor highly available cloud infrastructures
Contribute to automation of deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform)
Take responsibility for implementing regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training or degree in IT or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in cloud security with AWS
Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., financial or energy sector)
Self-motivation, team spirit, and strong communication skills
Business-fluent German
