About the role
- In this role, you'll lead and innovate within the department, managing a team to drive results and uphold C.A. Fortune’s culture.
- You’ll oversee daily operations, address staffing needs, and ensure top-tier client and customer management within the West Region.
- Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with key account personnel, advising on strategic goals, and attending major industry events to represent C.A. Fortune.
- You’ll drive revenue growth, maintain budgeted expenses, and identify new opportunities for product distribution and promotional activity.
- By meeting or exceeding client KPIs and delivering impactful sales presentations, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing client partnerships and achieving business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Significant work experience as department director or similar position – CPG experience is a must
- Outstanding leadership, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Able to excel in high-pressure situations and exhibit problem solving/solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Must demonstrate sales planning, forecasting and sales execution experience.
- Must have strong comfort level with reading, interpreting and presentation data – SPINS, Nielsen & IRI
- Aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups.
- Ability and confidence presenting to an executive audience, internally and externally.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software; problem solver; well-developed organizational, communication and time management skills.
