About the role

Set the direction and lead the design of the solution architecture for Hubexo's global content authoring and management solutions
Design highly efficient and scalable event-based data ingestion and ETL pipelines that process and enrich construction related data at high velocity
Utilize serverless architecture and AI/ML/LLMs to evolve content authoring platforms
Architect solutions for global deployability and scalability considering performance, data residency, and latency
Design and support implementation of observability frameworks including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting
Define and implement API strategies supporting GraphQL and REST
Embed security considerations across architecture from data ingestion to enrichment to meet compliance
Collaborate globally with architects across other Hubexo Tribes
Provide architectural guidance, mentorship and support to squads responsible for data ingestion, enrichment, low-code, APIs, and internal content authoring platforms

8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on data platforms, event-driven ETL and cloud-native solutions
Deep practical experience with AWS services
Strong understanding and experience with designing and implementing APIs (REST, GraphQL)
Proven track record in designing, building and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency data ingestion and processing pipelines
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
Experience with designing comprehensive observability with monitoring, logging and tracing
Experience with data ingestion techniques from various sources
Familiarity with web scraping technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience in breaking down large-scale, global systems into manageable components
