About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help lead the ABA Therapy Department at the assigned center
  • Enforce ABA Therapy standards to maintain quality of care
  • Supervise and mentor BCBAs and ABA interns
  • Support BCBAs with assessments, intervention design, report writing, and caregiver education
  • Educate ABA staff on effective, professional, and ethical behavioral analysis
  • Create clinical-process resources with HR and Marketing
  • Confirm expense reimbursement details, SOAP notes, scheduling records, and billable service hours
  • Participate in staff, family, and management meetings as a clinical liaison
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation for new BCBAs and Behavior Technicians
  • Review BCBA resumes and conduct interviews; assist with Behavior Technician hiring
  • Support RBT training, competency assessments, and RBT/BCBA pairings
  • Complete consults, initial service recommendations, and initial assessment scheduling
  • Collaborate with Behavior Technicians, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Operations
  • Oversee assigned caseload hours, protocol modification, treatment planning, direct therapy, caregiver education, assessments, and authorization reports
  • Ensure quality documentation for pre-authorizations, evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, progress reports, and SOAP notes
  • Collaborate with Senior Clinical Leadership and Operations on team supervision and employee-status decisions
  • Uphold BY YOUR SIDE core principles, policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Masters Degree required in relevant field from an accredited University
  • National Certification by Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Must be a BACB Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a BCBA (preferred)
  • Completion of eight (8) hour online, competency-based training module on BACB experience standards
  • Completion of Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred or will train on site
  • Safety Care Certified preferred or will train on site
  • Familiarity with relevant diagnostic tools and procedures
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
  • Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies
  • Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and deadlines from remote location(s)
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
