About the role
- Responsible for evaluation, creation, and implementation of therapy plans
- Accurate and reliable data collection
- Consultation and training with family and staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans
- Provide individual therapy to clients focusing on speech, language, feeding, AAC, and social skills
- Maintain current licensure and certification
- Complete documentation responsibilities including pre-authorizations, evaluations, and progress reports
- Represent BY YOUR SIDE to local, state, and national organizations in a positive manner when attending professional seminars
- Travel to other centers for required trainings
Requirements
- High interest in working with children on autism spectrum
- Flexibility and dependability with schedule
- Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and procedures
- Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
- Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies
- Exceptional problem solving and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as collaboration skills
- Ability to think creatively and adjust style and approach
- Open to give and receive feedback and listen to and acknowledge the feelings, concerns, opinions and ideas of others
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and dependability, from any location
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and produce high quality deliverables with a strong attention to details
- Proficiency in use of basic technology systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Teams.
