About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implementation and further development of the test automation strategy
- Implementation and maintenance of automated software tests using modern test frameworks and technologies
- Integration of automated tests into continuous integration and deployment processes
- Analysis, documentation and tracking of defects and test results
- Close collaboration with development, product management and business units
- Supporting developers with development-time testing and quality assurance processes
- Participation in the selection and evaluation of suitable test tools and technologies
- Active contribution to QA and testing processes in a modern development environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in computer science or a relevant vocational qualification in the IT field
- Professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation is an advantage
- Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Self-motivation, teamwork skills and enthusiasm for technical challenges
- Knowledge of automated software testing and modern testing methods
- Experience with test tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Jest, Postman, SoapUI, Cucumber, JMeter, WireMock or comparable technologies
- Understanding of modern web applications and ideally experience with single-page applications (SPAs)
- Basic programming skills and test data creation experience are advantageous
- ISTQB certification preferred
- Good written and spoken German, at least C1 level
