About the role
- Proactively managing day-to-day operations of multiple and complex projects from start to finish including budgets, deliverables, milestones, and required activities; communicating project status with consultants and clients on a regular basis.
- Utilizing company tools, software and methodology, as appropriate, for management of all client projects.
- Collaborating with consulting team members and clients to gather requirements for the creation of both internal and client-facing documentation and reports, data analysis benchmarking, and other project specific deliverables.
- Contributing to and taking ownership in the preparation of client deliverables, including presentations, reports and correspondence.
- Assisting in the development and documentation of processes and procedures as they relate to the Project Manager team and project management at the company.
- Partnering with other PMO team members to co-manage projects, serving as lead project manager.
- Participating and providing leadership in company initiatives and special projects as directed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience
- 2 years of project management experience or formal project management training or certification and the ability to manage multiple components of complex projects.
- Working knowledge of project management methodology
- Proficiency in project management tools and software and CRM Software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills; flexibility; attention to detail; and the ability to work both independently and with a team toward a common goal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, and interpersonal skills; initiative and follow-through; sound discretion and judgment.
- Commitment to an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector a plus.
