About the role
- Preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), including notes and the management report
- Coordination and support of our domestic and international subsidiaries
- Analysis of financial metrics and preparation of meaningful management reports, forecasts and budgets
- Development and application of our group-wide accounting policies
- Contribution to the optimization of our reporting and financial systems
- Preparation and support of external audits and acting as a point of contact for auditors
- Participation in group-wide projects
Requirements
- A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Experience in group accounting (consolidation) or in external auditing
- Excellent knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and experience preparing single-entity and consolidated financial statements
- Confident user of MS Excel; knowledge of IDL is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working with international teams
- Very good written and spoken English
