About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and improve our CI/CD pipeline tools to support the development teams working on a variety of software products.
Create relationships with the development teams to progress towards common goals.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Infrastructure as code, develop tools to deploy infrastructure for development environments.
Containerize applications to improve deployments and application resilience.
Work closely with development and quality assurance teams to streamline and improve workflows.
Ensure infrastructure can scale dynamically and recover from disaster scenarios.
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Good understanding of security benchmarking
Managing development resources and access controls
Occasional after-hours work
Internal tooling development to improve operational efficiency and self-service solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent
2 years’ experience in a DevOps position
3 years’ experience in Software Engineering.
2 years’ experience with Amazon Web Services
Experience running Kubernetes / EKS in production environments.
Competent at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or GOLang. GOLang is preferred.
Familiarity with CI tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Github Actions and GitLab
Professional experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet and Chef.
Strong knowledge with an orchestrator tool such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
GIT
Experience with monitoring tools, APM, Logging and Infrastructure.
Brief Experience working with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift.
