About the role
- Oversee accounting operations for multiple restaurant groups and leads a team responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure consistent adherence to industry specific accounting standards, manage client relationships at the leadership level, and drive operational efficiency across all outsourced accounting processes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for both clients and internal teams, providing guidance on complex transactions, system issues, and policy interpretation while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or management role.
- 3+ years’ experience in restaurant accounting.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant accounting operations, including cash management, sales audits, tip handling, payroll allocations, inventory, and 3PD revenue reconciliation.
- Experience with R365 strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and teams in a fast-paced outsourced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable managing both structured routines and evolving client needs.
- Confident in presenting financial results and advising non-accounting stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
