About the role
- Acquisition of new customers in various markets of the Piping Technology business unit
- Market monitoring and identification of potential opportunities
- Development of sales strategies and concepts
- Opening up new markets in Germany and across Europe
- Contract negotiations through to contract conclusion (framework agreements)
- Point of contact for new customers until handover to Account Management
- Close cooperation with internal departments to develop and submit tailored solutions
Requirements
- Completed technical or commercial vocational training, or alternatively a business or technical degree
- Proven several years of relevant professional experience in sales
- Very good technical understanding
- Strong communication skills and confident presence
- Negotiation skills
- High level of commitment and resilience
- Assertiveness and team spirit
- Solid IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
- Good written and spoken English (Level B); additional foreign language skills are an advantage
- High willingness to travel
