About the role

  • Acquisition of new customers in various markets of the Piping Technology business unit
  • Market monitoring and identification of potential opportunities
  • Development of sales strategies and concepts
  • Opening up new markets in Germany and across Europe
  • Contract negotiations through to contract conclusion (framework agreements)
  • Point of contact for new customers until handover to Account Management
  • Close cooperation with internal departments to develop and submit tailored solutions

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial vocational training, or alternatively a business or technical degree
  • Proven several years of relevant professional experience in sales
  • Very good technical understanding
  • Strong communication skills and confident presence
  • Negotiation skills
  • High level of commitment and resilience
  • Assertiveness and team spirit
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
  • Good written and spoken English (Level B); additional foreign language skills are an advantage
  • High willingness to travel
