About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Owning end-to-end testing of complex back-end and cloud services running on AWS, Docker, and (where needed) VM setups
Designing, writing, and adapting automation scripts for API and environment testing across both SaaS and on-premises deployments
Validating integrations between CKEditor Cloud Services and depending components like CKEditor 5, Customer Portal
Running performance, stress, and regression testing on CKEditor ecosystem services
Partnering with developers to reproduce, triage, and resolve customers' technical and integration issues
Proactively identifying quality risks in the system and proposing improvements to test coverage, tooling, and CI reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years in QA with hands-on automation experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
solid practical JavaScript skills - comfortable with async code, working with HTTP clients, and reading & adapting existing code
hands-on experience writing E2E tests in modern frameworks (Cypress or Playwright)
hands-on experience with API testing - comfortable with tools like Postman/Bruno/Insomnia, reading API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and writing scripted API tests
working knowledge of Docker and Node.js - you can run a service locally and debug a containerized environment
solid understanding of how modern web apps work - SPA, REST APIs, HTTP, JWT, WebSockets
experience in leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., for test generation, edge case analysis, or task automation) to enhance QA efficiency
fluent command of Polish and a good working proficiency in English (at least B2+ level)
curiosity and critical thinking - you ask questions, dig into problems, and don't stop at 'it works on my machine'
