About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the growth of Businessolver’s Agency by consulting with sales team, clients, and channel management team
  • Engage clients in health and wellbeing strategy
  • Market, assess and place Voluntary Benefits coverage for clients
  • Communicate and partner with insurance companies and brokers
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendor partners
  • Travel or visit insurance companies and clients as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years work experience in voluntary benefits insurance and/or working with a brokerage required
  • Proven track record working with and closing opportunities with large clients across multiple industries
  • Exposure to account management for core benefit offering
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge on employer health and wellbeing strategies and of the current landscape of solutions that are driving results
  • Life, Health & Accident licenses are required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment; maintain annually
  • Professional benefit designations preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret insurance data
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Relationship building experience necessary
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
  • Desire to develop organizational structure
