Director, Benefits Consulting Practice – National Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the growth of Businessolver’s Agency by consulting with sales team, clients, and channel management team
- Engage clients in health and wellbeing strategy
- Market, assess and place Voluntary Benefits coverage for clients
- Communicate and partner with insurance companies and brokers
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendor partners
- Travel or visit insurance companies and clients as necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years work experience in voluntary benefits insurance and/or working with a brokerage required
- Proven track record working with and closing opportunities with large clients across multiple industries
- Exposure to account management for core benefit offering
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge on employer health and wellbeing strategies and of the current landscape of solutions that are driving results
- Life, Health & Accident licenses are required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment; maintain annually
- Professional benefit designations preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret insurance data
- Strong data analysis skills
- Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications
- Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Relationship building experience necessary
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
- Desire to develop organizational structure
