Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks purpose-built for Smart TV and connected device ecosystems.
Design test approaches covering UI/UX, video playback, and performance testing across Roku, AndroidTV, tvOS, Tizen, WebOS, and beyond.
Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration pipelines to enable rapid, reliable release cycles.
Investigate, reproduce, and report complex defects, working closely with engineers to isolate root causes in platform-specific codebases.
Identify memory leaks, CPU bottlenecks, and video streaming degradation on low-power devices.
Define, instrument, and track metrics for streaming performance, app health, and user experience.
Provide expert QA guidance, perform thoughtful test reviews, and coach and accelerate other engineers.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build quality in from concept to launch.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in test automation engineering
Hands-on experience testing and automating on living room / Smart TV platforms (Roku, AndroidTV/FireTV, AppleTV, Tizen, WebOS, or similar)
Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or proprietary TV SDKs and debugging tools
Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with performance and memory profiling on resource-constrained devices
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
