About the role
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including sexual harassment, workplace assault, discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.
- Provide compassionate and strategic legal counsel to clients navigating sensitive and high-stakes matters.
- Manage cases from intake through resolution, including depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients before the EEOC, NLRB, DOL, and other relevant agencies.
- Draft and review employment agreements, workplace policies, handbooks, and severance agreements.
- Conduct internal investigations and compliance audits for employer clients.
- Stay current with evolving labor and employment law trends and changes.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school in the United States.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Proven experience handling cases involving sexual harassment and/or workplace assault.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
- Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team.
