About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and implement sourcing strategy for medium-to-large sized categories
Manage the sourcing (RFx, RFI, RFP, reverse auction, negotiations) and evaluations processes
Develop and execute sourcing strategies and events for assigned spend areas (Finance, HR, IT Corporate Systems, Legal, Marketing, and Strategy)
Manage contract negotiation process (pricing, key terms, etc.) and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Perform advanced analysis to support the Procurement and Sourcing process
Maintain and manage existing contracts as well as the contract review process using contract management software, Coupa
Interface with relevant business partners (VP, Director, and Manager levels) for procurement support
Maintain regular communication with suppliers and work collaboratively to resolve ongoing issues and promote continuous improvement/cost reductions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or Business
5-7 years of experience of indirect IT procurement or similar analytical role (finance, merchandising, planning)
At least 3 years of vendor management or contract management/negotiation
Firm understanding of procurement best practices and emerging trends
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) is a plus
Certified Professional Purchasing Consultant (CPPC) is a plus
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Strong understanding of negotiation techniques, strategies, and possesses the skills required to execute
In-depth knowledge of the sourcing process
Strong command and understanding of fundamental analytical techniques
Experience with managing high value (multi-million dollar), high visibility sourcing initiatives
Demonstrated contract negotiation experience across a range of services and commodities
Experience with interpreting and drafting contractual terms
Experience with developing and implementing successful cost saving initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of relevant cost drivers
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in achieving or beating challenging goals
Procurement systems knowledge, specifically Coupa, is a plus
