Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the construction projects from start to finish
Ensure optimum utilization of resources, labor, materials and equipment
Develop effective communications and resolve conflicts among participants
Perform budgeting and identification of required resources
Ensure construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule
Devise project work plans and make recommendations for change
Communicate effectively with contractors
Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in project
Monitor progress of construction activities and hold status meetings
Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
Conduct weekly/bi-weekly site inspections
Ensure project documents are complete
Identify elements of project design and construction leading to disputes
Serve as key resource to Director and VP Construction

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS Education or equivalent
7 – 10 years in construction
5 – 7 years in multi-site project management
Construction knowledge required
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Proficient with MS Office products and web-based applications
Understanding of compliance and managing risk
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
