About the role
- Partner strategically with startup clients across industries (Fintech, Crypto/Blockchain/NFT, SaaS, Consumer, Healthcare).
- Act as a trusted ally to CEOs and management teams, providing fractional CFO services.
- Present at investor meetings and participate in investor pitches.
- Build complex financial models and evaluate fundraising round size and cap table dilution.
- Bridge legacy financial thinking with blockchain-based ecosystems and capital flows.
- Manage entire Finance function for clients and lead/manage teams.
- Build out robust processes and systems, embracing agile and scrappy startup environments.
- Context shift, communicate, prioritize, and evaluate diverse client needs while working largely independently.

- Over 5 years of experience in a high-level Finance role.
- Understanding of financial, regulatory, and tax landscapes and jurisdictional complexities.
- Ability to lead fundraising efforts, model cap table scenarios, and assist with investor pitches.
- Ability to design Finance functions, build team structures, implement systems, and develop processes.
- Drive comprehensive reporting of financial performance, metrics, and KPIs.
- Strong finance-based modeling and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Carta, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and video conferencing tools such as Zoom.
