About the role
- Lead the end-to-end video production process for all social media content.
- Define and maintain creative standards, visual identity, and brand consistency across all video content.
- Manage and mentor the video team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with social media, marketing, and creative teams to align video content with campaign objectives and brand strategy.
- Oversee project management of multiple campaigns, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are efficiently managed using tools like Asana.
- Review and approve content to ensure high quality, platform-specific optimization, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Analyze video performance metrics, generate insights, and implement strategies to improve engagement, retention, and reach.
- Drive innovation in video formats, production workflows, and social media trends, leveraging emerging tools and technologies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize production processes through automation, AI tools, or other efficiencies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for video initiatives, facilitating smooth communication between internal teams and external collaborators.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in video production, editing, and content creation, with at least 2 years focused on social media platforms.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to establish workflows and troubleshoot for the team.
- Proven track record in leading video teams, managing freelancers, and coordinating cross-functional creative projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in social-first video formats (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Strong background in storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement, with examples of measurable impact.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Strong analytical skills in reviewing content performance metrics and using insights to optimize creative output.
- Familiarity with workflow optimization, AI-assisted editing tools, and scalable production processes.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, social media, and creative teams to ensure brand alignment.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent, providing constructive feedback and fostering team growth.
