About the role

  • Manage and streamline core business processes including resource allocation, project scheduling, and capacity planning
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Oversee, procurement, vendor and supplier relationships
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal resource allocation across client engagements
  • Track consultant utilisation rates and identify opportunities to maximise billable time
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for contract consultants
  • Support project delivery by removing operational blockers and ensuring teams have the tools they need
  • Collaborate with the People Team on recruitment, onboarding and training administration
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement
  • Coordinate internal and external events and activities
  • Support the development and maintenance of a robust workforce plan
  • Assist with bid preparation and proposal development from an operational perspective
  • Maintain CRM systems and support sales pipeline management
  • Provide end-to-end sales administration support

Requirements

  • - Previous experience in operations management, ideally within professional services or consultancy
  • - Understanding of project management methodologies and resource planning activity
  • - Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • - Proficiency with operational tools (e.g., project management software, CRM systems, Microsoft 365)
  • - Commercial acumen and understanding of business financials
  • - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • - Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion
  • **Desirable Requirements**
  • - Experience within tech, IT, or digital consultancy environments
  • - Knowledge of compliance requirements (ISO standards, data protection, etc.)
  • - Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
