About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform QA/QC and inspection activities for oil and gas production/exploration projects
- Conduct quality control of materials, Tubular OCTG, Subsurface Equipment, and Surface Equipment
- Apply inspection methods, including NDT/NDE
- Work with inspection procedures and specifications relevant to QA/QC activities
- Work in field/remote locations as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or higher in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas production/exploration activities, particularly in QA/QC of materials, Tubular OCTG, Subsurface Equipment, and Surface Equipment
- Extensive knowledge and experience in QA/QC and inspection methods, including NDT/NDE
- Familiarity with international standards such as API, ANSI, ASME, BSI, and EN
- Certification as ISO 9001:2015 Auditor, API Q1, or other relevant Quality Management System standards is highly preferred
- NACE Level II or equivalent certification is highly preferred
- ASNT Level II (or equivalent) certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), MPI, and DPT
- Valid Welding Inspector certification
- Good knowledge of inspection procedures and specifications relevant to QA/QC activities
- Ability and willingness to work in field/remote locations
- Ability to pass a Jaeger near-vision test
- Good command of English, both verbal and written
- Strong, professional, and good interpersonal skills
