About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Inspect surface materials, piping, surface equipment, construction, and structural works in Oil & Gas or exploration activities
Perform inspection and Quality Control activities, including NDT/NDE methods
Assess compliance with API, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant standards
Conduct field inspection work, including assignments in remote areas
Verify welding and material quality against applicable specifications
Perform Jaeger near-vision testing as required for the role

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum D3 in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or exploration activities
Experience in Quality Control of materials, piping and surface equipment, construction, and structural works
Field experience is highly preferred
Strong knowledge and experience in inspection and Quality Control methods, including NDT/NDE
Familiarity with API 6A, API 5L, API 598, API 2B, API 520, and ANSI/ASME/ASTM standards related to materials, piping, and pressure vessels
Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant Quality Assurance standards
Knowledge of construction material specifications is highly preferred
Hold ASNT Level II (or equivalent) certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), MPI, and DPT
Hold a valid Welding Inspector certification
Able and willing to work in remote areas
Able to pass a Jaeger near-vision test
Good command of English, both verbal and written
Strong professional and interpersonal skills
