About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct QA/QC inspections of drilling, downhole, wellhead, and Christmas Tree materials and equipment
Inspect manufacturing processes, heat treatment, NDE, mechanical testing, FAT, packer, downhole equipment and valves, wellhead assemblies, and Christmas Trees
Perform inspection and quality control using QA/QC, NDT/NDE, and relevant inspection methods
Inspect thread connections, including VAM, SEC, API, and other premium connections
Assess products and applications from relevant manufacturers and equivalent suppliers
Apply international API standards and ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality control standards
Work in remote areas as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum D3/S1 in Engineering, preferably Petroleum, Metallurgy, Mechanical, or related fields, with minimum 3 years of experience
Alternatively, SMK/STM graduates with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection
Experience in manufacturing processes, heat treatment, NDE, mechanical testing, FAT, packer, downhole equipment/valves, wellhead assembly, and Christmas Tree
Knowledge of inspection and QA/QC methods, including NDT/NDE
Familiarity with Downhole Equipment, Wellhead, and Christmas Tree products and applications
Experience with products from Superior Energy, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Cameron, FMC, or equivalent highly preferred
Hold a Welding Inspector certification
Hold ASNT Level II certifications in UT, MPI, and DPT
Familiarity with thread connection inspection, including VAM, SEC, API, and other premium connections
Good knowledge of API 6A, API 5B, API 5CT, API 17D, API 14D, and API 14A
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant Quality Control standards
Good command of English, verbal and written
Willing and physically able to work in remote areas
Strong, professional, and good interpersonal skills
Able to pass a Jaeger near-vision test
