Key responsibilities & impact

Inspect tubular (OCTG) products and related manufacturing processes
Perform or support inspections involving tubular processing, heat treatment, NDE, mechanical testing, thread and gauging, and welding
Conduct thread inspections according to applicable procedures and specifications
Apply relevant ISO, API, and ASTM standards during inspection activities
Work in remote areas in accordance with company health standards
Complete the Jaeger eyesight test and required medical checks

Requirements

What you’ll need

University graduate with D3 or higher in petroleum, metallurgy, mechanical, or engineering, plus at least 3 years of work experience; or SMK/STM vocational high school graduate with at least 10 years of work experience
Training in tubular (OCTG) and familiarity with products from VAM, TENARIS, HUNTING, HYDRIL, API, and other premium connection manufacturers
At least 5 years of experience in tubular (OCTG) manufacturing or related tubular processing, tubular heat treatment, NDE, mechanical testing, thread and gauging, and welding
Good knowledge of thread inspection procedures and company specifications preferred
Good knowledge of ISO 11960, API Spec 5CT, API 5B, ASTM A370, ISO 13679, or similar standards
ASNT Level II certification for ultrasonic, MPI, and DPT
Physically healthy and able to work in remote areas according to company health standards
Pass the Jaeger test for near-vision acuity
Good verbal and written English communication skills
Strong and professional personality
Contractor must ensure personnel have an MCU meeting company requirements if selected
