About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure equal opportunity in employment
  • Oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance
  • On-site inspections during the construction phase
  • Communicating with the Project Manager regarding work order requirements
  • Resolving schedule issues with Project Manager, fabrication shops, contractors, and other third parties
  • Perform services in accordance with project requirements and contract
  • Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports
  • Maintain positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, fabrication facility, and the client

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society)
  • D1.5 Bridge Inspection Experience a plus
  • NDT Level II a plus
  • AMPP/NACE Level II a plus
  • Ability to work remotely from the established Bureau Veritas offices.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes preferred.
  • Proficient use of modern communication and computer equipment including cell phones, laptop computers and digital cameras.
  • Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work.
  • Team player willing to work with clients, field staff, other Bureau Veritas offices, and the worldwide Bureau Veritas organization.
