About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Pre-Stressed Concrete Inspector is responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance.
Communicating with the Project Manager to determine specific requirements of a given work order.
Ensure services provided are performed in accordance with project requirements and contract with the client.
Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports.
Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, fabrication facility, and client.
Ability to work remotely from established Bureau Veritas offices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three years minimum in concrete construction including one year minimum in precast or prestressed construction.
REQUIRED - ACI Level I Field Technician Certification
REQUIRED - PCI Level II certification
High school Graduate or GED
Read and interpret blue prints and shop drawings
Prepare reports both in Hard copy (written) and on a PC.
High degree of computer literacy with the ability to competently operate a PC and use Microsoft products including MS Word and MS Excel.
