About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Pre-Stressed Concrete Inspector is responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance.
- Communicating with the Project Manager to determine specific requirements of a given work order.
- Ensure services provided are performed in accordance with project requirements and contract with the client.
- Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports.
- Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, fabrication facility, and client.
- Ability to work remotely from established Bureau Veritas offices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three years minimum in concrete construction including one year minimum in precast or prestressed construction.
- REQUIRED - ACI Level I Field Technician Certification
- REQUIRED - PCI Level II certification
- High school Graduate or GED
- Read and interpret blue prints and shop drawings
- Prepare reports both in Hard copy (written) and on a PC.
- High degree of computer literacy with the ability to competently operate a PC and use Microsoft products including MS Word and MS Excel.
