About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Pre-Stressed Concrete Inspector is responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance.
  • Communicating with the Project Manager to determine specific requirements of a given work order.
  • Ensure services provided are performed in accordance with project requirements and contract with the client.
  • Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports.
  • Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, fabrication facility, and client.
  • Ability to work remotely from established Bureau Veritas offices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years minimum in concrete construction including one year minimum in precast or prestressed construction.
  • REQUIRED - ACI Level I Field Technician Certification
  • REQUIRED - PCI Level II certification
  • High school Graduate or GED
  • Read and interpret blue prints and shop drawings
  • Prepare reports both in Hard copy (written) and on a PC.
  • High degree of computer literacy with the ability to competently operate a PC and use Microsoft products including MS Word and MS Excel.
