About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure equal opportunity in employment
- Responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance on behalf of Bureau Veritas's client
- Conduct on-site inspections during the construction phase
- Communicate with the Project Manager to determine specific requirements including scope of work, deliverables, schedule, and budget
- Resolve schedule issues through effective communication with various stakeholders
- Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports
- Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility, and the client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society)
- Significant knowledge of the American welding Society (AWS) codes
- Experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proficient use of modern communication and computer equipment including cell phones, laptop computers, and digital cameras
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes preferred
- Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work
- Client-oriented approach with emphasis on understanding and fulfilling the needs of the client
