Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure equal opportunity in employment
Responsible for oversight of the fabrication facility's quality assurance on behalf of Bureau Veritas's client
Conduct on-site inspections during the construction phase
Communicate with the Project Manager to determine specific requirements including scope of work, deliverables, schedule, and budget
Resolve schedule issues through effective communication with various stakeholders
Generate and process timesheets, billing reports, and inspection reports
Maintain a positive relationship between Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility, and the client

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society)
Significant knowledge of the American welding Society (AWS) codes
Experience in a similar position
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proficient use of modern communication and computer equipment including cell phones, laptop computers, and digital cameras
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Lotus Notes preferred
Ability to multi-task and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work
Client-oriented approach with emphasis on understanding and fulfilling the needs of the client
