About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Project Manage infrastructure projects on behalf of our client through all lifecycle stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive engagement.
- Manage project documentation and reporting in line with Defence and Bureau Veritas standards.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
- Oversee handover/takeover (HOTO) processes and ensure timely project closeout.
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management)
- A current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one)
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile
- Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
