About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Project Manage infrastructure projects on behalf of our client through all lifecycle stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through proactive engagement.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting in line with Defence and Bureau Veritas standards.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee handover/takeover (HOTO) processes and ensure timely project closeout.
  • Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Construction Management)
  • A current Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to maintain one)
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally within the Defence or Government sector
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile
  • Strong understanding of government procurement practices and compliance standards
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
