About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading the direction, completion, and outcome of building assessment projects
Conducts client facing on-site assessments and prepares written reports
Owns communication with local Building, Zoning, and/or Fire Departments
Travel to client project sites across the U.S. (50% of workweek)
Conduct interviews with property owners, tenants, and service providers
Prepares detailed written reports that accurately describe onsite findings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field
Minimum of three years of related experience
In lieu of degree, five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record)
Current AHERA, Asbestos Inspector Certification, or OSHA-40-hour certification preferred
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures
Proficiency in operating a computer and various software including Microsoft Suite and business specific applications
