About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Project Engineer – MEP is responsible for design, engineering, automation, installation, and commissioning of conveyor and material handling systems.
Develop 3D models and 2D layouts for conveyor and material handling systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
Program, configure, and test PLCs (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley or equivalent).
Supervise and support on-site installation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Analyze system performance and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute project activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Electrical /Mechanical) with min. 3 to 10 years or Diploma with 6-13 years of relevant experience in Automation/Conveyor Systems.
Knowledge of PLC & HMI programming, industrial automation, and conveyor systems is desirable.
Exposure to MEP installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software is preferred.
Working knowledge of QA/QC requirements related to MEP and automation works.
Awareness of applicable electrical and safety codes (NEC, ANSI, OSHA or equivalent).
