About the role

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Architecture, or related field (Preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years in plan checking, permit technician, or building inspection
- Experience as firefighter or in related code enforcement field
- Valid California Driver's License
- Proficiency in project management
- Strong understanding of NFPA 1031 Standards
- California State Fire Marshal (CSFM) Fire Inspector I Certification (must obtain within specified period)
- ICC Fire Inspector I Certification (Preferred)
