About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Promote a Quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of Civil best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems
Lead the civil Inspection team.
Review and provide inputs (E.g. Comments, Checklists, etc.) for all Civil QC related Procedures.
Ensure the effective implementation of Project QCPs/ITPs related to Civil Discipline.
Perform daily Inspection tasks in line with Site Quality Requirements and Quality Control Plans.
Lead or participate in investigations to resolve Civil quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring that they are effectively executed.
Issue and expedite identified NCRs related to Civil activities.
Report progress and feedback activity to Site QC manager.
Perform Surveillance of Civil Works.
Participate in weekly mass TBT and Quality walkdowns.
Ensure the Civil inspection Team have performed all necessary trainings (HSE & Quality) prior site work starting.
Ensure Civil Feedback & Lesson Learned are cascade to all Inspectors within project and their Subcontractors.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years of experience ( Tarmac road construction experience is mandatory).
Diploma or bachelor’s degree holder in Civil Engineering.
