About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify potential new customers and convert prospects into new business
- Drive sales process from research to program execution
- Manage the client start-up and provide guidance during transition
- Develop strong client relationships and serve as liaison with other departments
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and training seminars
- Forecast and monitor client sales, evaluate operations, and suggest process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 year college degree in business administration or related discipline, MBA preferred
- 5 years related experience in a business environment preferably in direct selling, sales management or sourcing management within the consumer products industry
- 5 years of experience in consumer products businesses, preferred
- Understanding and general competency in areas of technical regulations, standards, and compliance
- Ability to interpret technical information and translate into common terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications – including Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have, or be able to quickly develop, executive level relationships with major retailers
