About the role
- Proactively identify and qualify new leads within the mining, metal processing, and smelter sectors to expand the company’s market share.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with mine owners, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Present and promote integrated services, including QA/QC, HSE compliance, and technical support, tailored to client needs.
- Lead the development of technical proposals, cost strategies, and commercial negotiations for service contracts.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving ESG/sustainability requirements affecting mining operations.
- Conduct frequent site visits to mines and client offices to provide technical backup and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and visit summaries for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, specifically within the Mining, Metal, or TIC industry.
- Deep understanding of mining operations, mineral processing, and regional mining regulations.
- Established network with mining operators, smelter owners, and major EPC firms in Indonesia is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English for technical and commercial reporting.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities to close high-value service contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently to remote mining sites.
