About the role
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for ICT solutions, ensuring alignment with project objectives and user needs.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including business cases, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including solution architects, project managers, and developers to ensure accurate translation of requirements into solution design and delivery.
- Identify and recommend business process improvements, supporting change initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement across systems and workflows.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining alignment with compliance, security, and quality standards in high-security environments.
Requirements
- Must hold an active NV2 or PV security clearance (Positive Vetting)
- Skilled in writing project documents, including OCD and FPS (Operational Concept Document and Functional Performance Specifications document); as well as briefs and reports
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement.
- Intelligence or Electronic Warfare (EW) experience is definitely preferred.
- Solid understanding of Defence & Security sector operations, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications; experience in Defence and/or government environments is highly desirable.
