About the role
- Preparation of all tax matters and compliance
- Perform monthly BAS control checks and lodgement
- Prepare bi-monthly NZ GST lodgements and control checks
- Perform yearly FBT preparation and collection of required information
- Preparation of draft group income tax return including CBC report
- Prepare various other tax and compliance lodgements
- Support with the preparation of Annual and Half Year Statutory Financial Accounts
- Assist in intercompany recharges and reconciliation
- Assist with the information to be provided to the external/internal auditors
- Assist in preparing tax provisions and compliance reporting to HO
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Self-starter attitude with a strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ideally someone with Tax background
