About the role
- Support the preparation and regular update of the Annual Disbursement Plan based on the project cash flow forecast.
- Assist in preparing and submitting disbursement requests to the project lenders.
- Provide training to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) on disbursement procedures and financial documentation.
- Support the preparation and management of Project Accounts.
- Coordinate and facilitate project financial audits and follow up on audit findings.
- Prepare financial inputs for Quarterly Progress Reports and other required reports under the Finance Agreements.
- Monitor project expenditures and prepare financial projections for the upcoming six months.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management, preferably in large infrastructure or public works projects.
- Experience working on projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial procedures related to construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in preparing disbursement applications, project accounts, and financial reports.
