About the role
- Advise our clients on OT and IoT products and infrastructures for projects of any size.
- This includes security risk assessments according to IEC 62443, gap analyses, compliance checks and maturity assessments.
- Support the security design and architecture of industrial networks.
- Assist our clients in securing their digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Analyze vulnerabilities, risks, policies and procedures with regard to their impact on business operations.
- Perform assessments based on recognized frameworks or frameworks developed by Bureau Veritas.
- Support our sales team with your technical expertise.
- Coach junior and mid-level consultants.
- Actively contribute to the development of our knowledge base and service offerings.
Requirements
- University degree.
- Practical experience in IT security for industrial networks and IoT devices such as PLCs, DCS, inverters, telematics systems and smart home devices.
- Experience with IT and industrial communication protocols such as Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC 104 and vendor-specific protocols.
- Experience conducting risk analyses and evaluating risk management processes.
- Penetration testing skills desirable.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443, MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, NIST CSF, EN 303 645 and EN 18031.
- Good understanding of regulatory frameworks such as CRA, NIS2, RED‑DA, DORA, GDPR and the US Cyber Trustmark.
- Ability to produce impactful whitepapers and publications.
- German and English skills, spoken and written (at least C1 level).
