About the role
- Perform high volume of data entry work for received samples
- Accurate input and updating of existing records, within the LIMS system
- Troubleshooting problems with incoming samples
- Work with customers to resolve discrepancies/issues
- Assist answering telephones and routing calls
- Filing and sorting of documents
- Assist in sample receiving area as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Internships and research experience will be considered
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
- Ability to do some Basic Math
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
