About the role

  • Achieve sales targets in the Agricultural Commodities sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and local traders/farmers.
  • Understand and interpret technical requirements for commercial value.
  • Travel to ports, warehouses, and silos for client interactions and sales closures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Food Technology, Chemistry, or Business.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Sales/Commercial experience in the Agricultural Commodities or TIC industry.
  • Experience in selling Fumigation services is a distinct advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Local language proficiency is essential for dealing with local traders/farmers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements (GAFTA/FOSFA standards) into commercial value.
  • Willingness to travel to ports, warehouses, and silos.
