About the role
- Collect and analyze input information to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
- Review project data, design drawings, and technical documentation; verify design principles and clarify any issues with the design team throughout all stages (from concept to construction design).
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local and international codes and standards.
- Validate analytical models, calculation spreadsheets, design reports, and drawings in accordance with the company’s quality assurance procedures.
- Proficient in specialized software such as AutoCAD, Revit (required), and other tools for design and analysis.
- Coordinate with other designers/ other consultants/ other members to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Capable of supervising M&E works at construction sites.
- Experienced in Quantity take-off, quotation making, and obtaining supplier quotations for electromechanical, contracting document and technical documents.
Requirements
- University diploma in Electrical field
- At least 5+ years of experience working in designing Electrical systems
- In-depth knowledge of local codes & standards
- Practical experience in designing hotel/industrial/factory building projects
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit
- Be able to communicate fluently in English, in both written and oral commands
- Ability to work independently and/or in team on several projects
- Be able to take lead in controlling the quality of deliverables to be sent out
