About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Qatar oil and gas market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key industry players and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with major clients, contractors, and operators
- Conduct regular client engagement activities and account reviews
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management
- Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns for the local oil and gas sector
- Develop compelling marketing materials, proposals, and presentations
- Enhance brand visibility and positioning within the regional market
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in Qatar
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify market opportunities
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team
- Collaborate with internal departments (operations, technical, finance) to ensure seamless execution
- Set performance targets and track KPIs
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities
- Prepare tender proposals and commercial bids
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 7-10 years in sales and marketing roles within the oil and gas industry in Qatar
- Track record of successfully closing B2B deals and generating revenue growth
- Experience with major oil and gas operators, contractors, or service providers
- Demonstrated success in market entry or business expansion initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of the Qatar oil and gas sector, market dynamics, and key players
- Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, services, and supply chain
- Proficiency in salesforce systems and sales management tools
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Results-driven with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
- Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in the local context
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
