About the role

  • Manage and deliver projects in steam power generation field (geothermal, biomass, or thermal power plants).
  • Oversee turbine retrofit, upgrade, or replacement projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
  • Engage with major turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) platforms on project execution.
  • Address site-specific material selection and design challenges related to corrosive geothermal steam.
  • Ensure timely delivery of large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline is typically required.
  • Having A Project Management Certificate National or Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management protocols is essential due to the nature of power plant operations.
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience in a steam power generation field (geothermal, biomass, or thermal power plants) is necessary.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managing turbine retrofit, upgrade, or replacement projects, preferably with experience involving major turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) platforms.
  • A deep understanding of power plant systems, particularly the site-specific material selection and design challenges associated with corrosive geothermal steam.
  • Experience in managing and delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
