About the role
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends in the oil & gas industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead sales efforts, including negotiations and contract management, to secure new business deals.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights for senior management.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering/ science/ technology or any related studies.
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical or other related industries.
- Existing Business Development personnel who deal extensively with project owner and EPCC in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical market in Malaysia, or Project Engineers without sales experience but interested in diverting their career into Sales and Marketing are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in petrochemical or oil and gas plant construction projects is a must.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
- A go-getter, an easy-going team player and people-oriented person.
- An analytical and result oriented individual.
- Possess existing network with PACs
- Must be willing to travel
- Prefereably a Sarawakian or Sabahan
