Software Engineer

• Conduct engineering studies related to Structural field when required
• Prepare a clear and understandable Structural scope of work for transmission projects
• Review amendments for technical aspects
• Review the technical offers including deviations submitted by bidders
• Review of the technical recommendation report
• Review and comment on design drawings, documents, materials, BIM Model
• Finalise non-compliance note on submittals
• Attend factory inspections whenever required
• Ensure proper documentation of the inspection results
• Review compliance statement and provide recommendations
• Coordinate and participate in various technical, design and progress meetings
• Liaise with DEWA user departments to offer solutions
• Assist in raising change requests on the existing technical specification
• Assist in materials conformity and approvals
• Assist in investigating and addressing issues reported through the failure feedback mechanism
• Conduct site visits and site quality audits
• Attend site investigations with the departments concerned
• Responsible for continuously innovating and fulfilling the requirements
