About the role

  • Supervise overall operation of a program including multiple projects and ensure communication between sales and technical operations
  • Serve as consultative resource for clients and sales; may participate in presentations
  • Manage program budget, costs, scope, risk, change, and issue management
  • Mentor and train team members; manage and mentor multiple Project Managers
  • Responsible for program contribution to business profit and loss center and financial outcomes of client accounts
  • Oversee workflow of zoning/survey team and determine staffing or vendor needs
  • Ensure ALTA Surveys and Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence quality and compliance
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on program performance and profitability
  • Support sales in proposals, cost estimates, and act as main point-of-contact during execution
  • Ensure post-delivery revisions adhere to contractual scope and mitigate scope creep
  • Manage field staff schedules, perform technical reviews, and act as technical lead
  • Participate in recruiting activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality, follow policies and SOPs, and ensure safe work environments
  • Travel to client sites across the U.S. and perform onsite field duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in related field required; or 8-10 years related experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of five to seven years of related experience
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from clients, peers, and technical field staff
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project management software
  • Ability to operate an electronic tablet in the field for live data collection
  • Motivated to improve processes and lead process improvements
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills
  • Strong client-facing, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, active listening and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people; manage teams and mentor staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work remotely and meet physical demands of fieldwork
  • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service
  • Willingness to travel by plane, motor vehicle, and train to client sites across the U.S.
