About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary point of contact for intermediaries within the assigned portfolio and deliver a high level of customer care.
- Resolve broker queries via email and telephone while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Investigate broker issues, identify issue trends, and proactively recommend solutions.
- Establish and develop effective relationships with brokers.
- Prioritise workload between enrolment and broker service according to importance and urgency.
- Facilitate administration work in renewal business.
- Support brokers with training, including online portal navigation and the enrolment process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Insurance Agent License from the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (HKIA).
- Meet the applicable academic and regulatory requirements, including passes in IIQE Papers I and II.
- Candidates who do not currently hold the licence but are able to obtain it within 3 months of employment are welcome to apply.
- Fluency in both English and Cantonese.
- Proficiency in written skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an agile way.
- Excellent people skills in managing brokers’ expectations.
- Ability to be empathetic while maintaining a professional attitude.
- First-class numeracy skills for handling complex claim, premium, and commission queries accurately.
- Track record of achieving productivity and Quality Assurance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective time management.
